Lake Appliance Repair

Michael was awesome! He showed up, was very cordial, ran some diagnostic tests on our washer and found nothing was wrong. I would definitely recommend his services.

I honestly don’t think 5 stars are enough. Every person I worked with was so nice and helpful! We had a bunch of snow so my part was delayed but they were already on top of it to call and set up a new time with me the next day. The gentleman that came out was nice and professional. The repair did not take long (it’s a known defect with my washer) so he was done in no time. I hope to not have another problem with any appliances, but if I do, I will be calling them.

They were contracted by my extended warranty company to repair an appliance that was running intermittently. They made five visits to try and fix the problem, but it persisted. They replaced the boards and it didn't help. Then they came and replaced another part. At the time of that visit the appliance was running, since it would run intermittently. Immediately after that visit it would not function at all. I called Lake appliance right away and it took them two weeks to come back out. On this visit the repairman said a different part from the one he replaced had gone bad. I pointed out that the only way that could have occurred was if that part coincidentally failed during the last repair, since it was running when he arrived. He just shrugged and said, well it could happen at any time so why not then. He told me he would order a replacement part and scheduled an appointment next week. I pointed out that after 5 visits over 5 months that it was time to deem the appliance unrepairable at which point the warranty company would replace it. He replied that he would never deem it unrepairable and that he has gone out as many as sixteen times on the same appliance. The part didn't come and when I called Lake appliance the day of the appointment they said the repairman was not comfortable coming back to my residence. They didn't even have the courtesy to tell me this ahead of time and I had rearranged my schedule that day to accommodate this visit. So now I've gone from an appliance that would function intermittently to one that is not functioning at all. I am editing this review to reply to the response I received below. How is it OK for you to come out to my home and find an appliance that is running, replace a part and leave and the appliance immediately stops functioning. Then return say you are replacing a different part, schedule an appointment, then not return, order the part or even have the courtesy to notify me.

I personally want to call out Andrea and Zack for the expert service I received with my fridge repair. From the first call with Andrea, who scheduled me right away and was so friendly and wonderful to talk too, to Zach who was so friendly and professional getting the fridge up and running.
