Lost a long time customer today. Disappointed in the owners wife watching the Hispanic sales lady treat a customer disrespectfully by trying to sell damaged jewelry for more than the value of the sticker. I have spent a fair bit of money at this establishment in the past, and today I went in to replace a pair of my fiancees Sterling silver diamond cut hooped earrings that our oldest had damaged when he was younger. Nothing fancy or expensive, but more of a sentimental valentines gift. When I got them a few years back, the owner had sold them to me for $72, and they were gorgeous. The ones I looked at today had a sticker price of $75 and were tarnished and bent up pretty badly, along with almost every other pair of sterling silver hooped earings they had on display. Almost like they were found in a old shoebox of a collapsed building. The Hispanic sales lady took them back to get "polished and straightened" and when she returned, they were barely any better and the sticker was now blank from the fluids used to polish. She tried to give me a sales price $10 higher than the sticker price and told me the best she could do was $85 on sale. These were still bent and tarnished and when I asked if they could be cleaned and straightened better, she told me in front of the owners wife that I can either get these ones today as is or I would have to special order a new pair. Owners wife didn't say anything, she stood behind the counter and watched her associate try to sell garbage to a customer. If this is the path this business as chosen, then today will be the last day I step foot in this establishment.
