We had a unique issue with the smoke chamber in our 1962 rambler and were having trouble finding a good solution. We spent way too much money. Aaron came in and assessed the issue, made a reasonable recommendation, and rebuilt the smoke chamber. The fireplace is now working fine. He was an absolute pleasure to work with, knowledgable, capable and hard working. I would recommend him to anyone, and have.
Aaron and his crew were great. Planning: the discovery process was pretty thorough and fairly quick. He gave me a few options at different price points. We settled on a reasonable middle ground and I felt well informed on my decision criteria. Execution: the crew was on time and always left the worksite tidy at the end of the day. We ran into a few unknowns from the previous builders, but Aaron gave me options and we kept the project on time and in budget. Craftsmanship: the stack is plumb, level and square, the grout lines are clean and even, and the cap looks great. It looks great from two feet away, and awesome from the ground. Every roof seem is sealed and I haven’t seen anything that looks like it might leak. Flexibility: I ended up pivoting for a slightly cheaper version mid way through, and we needed to change nothing about the previous work. Super easy. Price: the materials are what they are, whatcha gonna do. The labor cost was reasonable and the total hours were great. 10/10 would recommend!
Aaron was on time, efficient and was kind enough to explain everything he was doing while cleaning out my wood insert and chimney. He even gave me a tip to help keep my house warmer when I wasn't even using the insert. Honestly, it could not have been a better experience. Highly recommended!
We recently asked Aaron from Pristine Sweeps for fireplace & chimney cleaning, inspection, and repair. Plus, a beautiful wood fireplace installation. We couldn't be happier with the experience. He was always on time, kind, and truly reliable. From start to finish, he explained each step clearly, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free for us. Our fireplace's unusual structure caused some unexpected challenges, but he handled everything beautifully with his skills without charging any extra money. We really appreciate his patience and hard work. The finished result is beautiful, clean, and sophisticated, which is exactly what we had hoped for. It was a pleasure working with him, who was always kind and thoughtful. If we ever need help with our fireplace again, we will definitely reach out to him again!
We've had Pristine clean our chimney since 2021. Our previous chimney person was spending less and less time cleaning our chimney and charging more and more money each year. We were very happy with our first experience with Pristine - Aaron was on time, did a very thorough job, provided us information about the state of the chimney we use and one we didn'f (for a decommissioned oil stove) really tidy. He is extremely respectful of our time always arriving on time. Each year the same great experience. When it came time to replace our stove this year Aaron did a stellar job! We are so happy with our new stove. It turned out to be a challenging installation due to the configuration of our existing fireplace. but Aaron persevered staying late so it would be all complete. We really appreciate working with him. I recommend him without hesitation for anyone looking for excellent service at a competitive price by a local business! :)
