Ed is an amazing person, he communicates clearly and his experience shows when he talks to you. We came to him with this Segway C80 eMoped. It had a flat rear tire, but because it is not like a regular bicycle, most shops didn't want to take it apart. Ed said he'd give it a go, and we were happy to have someone at least willing to try. In less time than we expected, he got the rear tire replaced. Throughout the process he was transparent about what work he was doing and what parts he needed to buy. Would recommend everyone come here for all their bike-related needs!

I've been to the big box bike shops and gotten lost in the shuffle of it all and drowned in their inflated rates. Craving personalized service and attention to detail, I found just what I was looking for in Edgar at Neighborhood Bike Repair. Though it was far from MY neighborhood, his confidence and skill was worth the drive to know my bicycles would get fixed right.
My bike just needed a new derailleur, new chain, new tires and a tuneup...But my son has grown big enough to use his grandfather's bike that was given to him. Its a high quality Specialized mountain bike, but this thing had a LOT on miles on it and needed a complete overhaul. New brakes, new shifters, new wires, new grips, new handlebar, new derailleur, new tires, new chain and to cut down the pipe of the seat so that it could sit lower. So we stripped it all down to the bare frame and Edgar rebuilt it from the ground up. After it was rebuilt something was still not working right, and I got a text from Edgar that said "I need to figure out why it isn't working. I'm not quitting, its not something I do. There's a reason for why its not working I just haven't found that reason yet." After continuing to investigate he found that there were bent teeth on the large cogs of the chain ring that he needed to straiten out as they were making the chain jump.
Now both of our bikes are as good as new and we couldn't be more pleased. Whether you need an overhaul or just a tune-up, Neighborhood bike repair will take care of you and your bike.

Ed is such an incredible man! He was extremely nice and knowledgeable. He fixed the bars on my bike and added a kickstand. My bike looked new! I’m glad I had taken my bike there, he is an honest and a great man. I will definitely be returning for the amazing service!
