Avoid this place!!! I went to this place to pick up my UPS package. The lady was on the phone with customer support. 10 mins after waiting patiently, the lady said just one moment. 10 mins later (20 mins total), I asked the lady if I should come back b/c I have been waiting for a while already. The lady rudely and impatiently said I am on the phone and it will take at least another 20 mins, so you can just wait or leave. I wish that was communicated before I waited 20 minutes there. The lady also mentioned a few other rude comments such as "I am just going to return your package back to UPS". I understand it is frustrating to be on the phone with customer support, but the lady could have let me know when I walked into the store instead of after I asked myself after waiting for 20 mins. Also note while waiting there, I noticed everything in this store is over priced. I would not go there for any service

Summary: go to Jet City Device Repair instead I took my phone in to get the screen repaired and data pulled from the phone. My phone was badly damaged but the phone still worked. The iGSM staff took the phone, damaged it further, and locked me out of the phone for 8 hours. They said the phone was beyond a quick data saving and they needed several days to run diagnostics tests on it and repair it. I had them replace the screen with the old broken one and return the phone to my possession. I walked 20 minutes north to the Jet City Device Repair team and they repaired my phone in 30 minutes. Screen works, everything looks good, no other issues that the iGSM team reported. I am still locked out of the phone for 8 hours but the overheating and restarting issue the iGSM team reported are no longer there. I highly recommend going elsewhere for more technical repairs.

I brought my phone to this repair shop after it suddenly failed during normal use. The device froze and, after a forced reboot, entered a boot loop with only intermittent access to recovery mode. I was told there was corrosion on the board and connectors, despite the moisture indicator showing no evidence of liquid exposure. My primary request was data recovery, specifically photos and videos. Over several days, the technicians were able to briefly boot the device and transfer data to an external drive. However, only older files were recovered, and a large portion of newer data was missing. When I asked about the missing files, I was told they were corrupted or never existed. I requested a second review to confirm nothing had been missed and was initially assured that all accessible data had already been transferred. After continued follow-up, I was shown documentation indicating that the phone’s camera and file directories were now completely empty. This raised concerns about the data recovery process. I was told that files were deleted from the device after being copied and that the process does not involve validating what data was not recovered. From a technical standpoint, deleting source data during recovery removes the ability to verify completeness or attempt further recovery methods. I paid a significant amount for this service, and unfortunately the device and its data are now in worse condition than when I brought it in. The lack of verification and loss of unrecoverable data were very disappointing. I would strongly recommend that anyone seeking data recovery here ask detailed questions in advance about how data is handled and whether original files are preserved throughout the process.
