Econo Appliance Repair

In previous dealings, I was completely satisfied wirh Econo Appliance Repait. My most recent experience has changed that. We have a Viking range wirh a gas cooktop. For quite some time, the lighting mechanism for the burners often continued clicking continuously after the burners would ignite. Econo looked at it some time ago and said the only fix was a major parts replacement. Some burners worked O. K., so we used just those. In July the problem spread to all burners. We decided to bite the bullet and pay for the major repair. A tech visited and ordered parts, which were installed in August. The cost came to $697.80. After work was done, some burners remained sporatically noisy. Ohers worked until they all reverted to clicking mode - on Thanksgiving weekend of course. I called Econo and was told that their work (and the parts) are guarranteed for only 90 days. This is spelled out in TINY print on their work order, but it was never verbalized to me. Had I been aware of their limited warrantee policy, I'd have certainly re-evaluated the situation earlier in November before 90 days had passed. Given the cost of this repair and lack of responsability assumed by Econo, I will seek help elswhere and recommend anyone reading this do the same.
