I hired J&R appliance to fix my Kenmore elite dryer, which stop heating. Joe came out only a few days after I made a call, he determined it needed a new resistor. He fixed it in a a couple hours. He seems to carry a lot of these parts in his truck. He also determined the failure might be my exhaust vent. After blowing it as clean as possible I determined after 20 years, the whole line has Limited flow. Joe, you were right ended up in that crawlspace rerouting the system. Thank you for your honesty and help and getting this done before the Holidays. Happy holidays, Ernest
Excellent service. I've used J&R to repair my DCS range on two separate occasions, most recently in May 2025. Each time, they diagnosed the problem immediately and had the parts to repair the range on their service vehicle. So, I did not have to wait for shipment of parts. They answer phone calls quickly, arrive on time, and are very professional. I will only use for J&R for any appliance repair and strongly recommend them.
My washer wouldn't spin so I tried to fix it myself by doing some common sense easy things like take off a few covers and make sure no wires shook themselves loose. Everything looked good so I called J&R. Before they arrived I debated whether I should put the panels back on. In the end I figured it might make it easier/faster for the technician if I leave the panels off. I incorrectly assumed that if they need the panels back on, they would know how to put them back on. After all, if it took me 10 minutes to take it apart, it should take a professional 5 minutes to put it back together. If they had to charge labor for that I would unders... After all, if it took me 10 minutes to take it apart, it should take a professional 5 minutes to put it back together. If they had to charge labor for that I would understand. The response upon arrival was an absolute refusal to work on it because some panels were off the machine. I made an appointment with a different company and the tech came out the next day. He held down the door close button with his thumb, ran some sort of test, said he knew what the issue was, and had it fixed in 20 minutes.
I never consider calling anyone else. I’ve relied on them for years to do professional service at a fair price.
