An amazing auto shop ran by an amazing man. I came to get my inspection done because id recently moved out of NC and needed to renew my tag before I could change it over. Not only did he squeeze me in to do an inspection, but he also squeezed me in to fix a ball joint I needed replaced. Very soft spoken and kind people, reasonably priced! If I’m ever back in Asheville and need ANY mechanic work done, I will be stopping by and seeing Bruce.

I was in the market for a new car and happened to accompany a friend of mine as she dropped her vehicle off to Bruce. I asked him if he knew of any reliable used cars. He happened to have a 2012 Subaru Outback on his lot the customer had brought in for some repairs and was going to sell. I took it for a test drive and spoke with Bruce extensively about repairs that had been done. He assured me it was a solid vehicle and there was nothing wrong with it. I ended up purchasing the vehicle through Bruce. Within a few days I started smelling exhaust throughout the vehicle. I called him immediately, took the car back to him. He stated that there was a leak in the flex pipe. He said he would fix it. Called him and set up an appointment to have it fixed. I dropped my car off in the morning and made it very clear I needed it back for the afternoon. Upon my return in the afternoon nothing had been fixed. That was almost 6 weeks ago. I've taken it to two different mechanics. They have both discovered that the catalytic converter had also been altered causing exhaust issues. The car is not worth the money to fix these issues. I feel as though Bruce was dishonest,and sold me a vehicle he knew something was wrong with and never honored his word of fixing it. Now I am stuck with a car that I have to drive around with the windows down and have been experiencing severe symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning. When you go to his shop you can tell he has a lot going on. A very long list in front of him of repairs to do on vehicles. I am extremely disappointed in the follow-up service I did not receive and the problem with the car that he could never seem to find time to fix. Until I can remedy this problem or sell the car it might just kill me in the meantime driving it around...I would not recommend him!!
