My Macbook Air took a small fall and the screen was damaged (see flashing vertical and horizontal lines in the attached photo). I called a few places, including this chop a couple of times, to try to get a diagnosis and best approach for fixing. I wasn't too happy with the quoted price but understood that was what it would be anywhere I brought it. Because of the good reviews and being an Apple-approved repair shop, I decided to bring it to them. The communication was good throughout. Great group to work with - I own a small business and use Charlotte street for all my computing needs. Always easy, transparent, and communicative and able to explain things to me in easy to understand language.
Jen and the staff are knowledgeable and kind. I appreciate having things explained in a way I can understand without feeling like an idiot. Pricing is fair and I’ve never had a problem with their work. When I need help with my computer, this is the place I go.
Edit- The owner Jen called me to resolve the problems from my previous experience. Her customer service was amazing, we spoke for around 20 minutes, and it’s clear she is passionate about what she does. I appreciate her time and consideration when handling my problems. As long as she’s the owner I will continue bringing my devices here. i brought my mac in because the screen was super dull, when i got it back it was stuck on a black screen, overheating, and wouldn’t turn off. on top of that they bent the metal casing on the bottom, and my screen was cracked. i paid $600 to get my laptop back in worse condition than i sent it in. after talkin...
