I can’t say enough good things about Mostly Import Automotive Repair on Biltmore Avenue (the one with the funny sayings on it's sign). I brought my 2003 Toyota Corolla in this week facing an expensive repair, and with a minimal car repair budget, I was understandably worried. The team at Mostly Imports took their time, carefully diagnosed the issue, and explained the problem to me in clear, detailed terms. I never felt rushed or talked down to. Instead of defaulting to the most expensive fix, they found a thoughtful workaround that significantly reduced the cost while still addressing the issue properly. What really stood out was their patience and transparency. They made sure I understood what was going on with my car and why their solution made sense, which gave me real peace of mind. It’s rare to find an auto shop that combines technical skill with this level of honesty and care. I feel very ripped off by this company. Our Toyota went in the first time and we were told we needed new spark plugs to fix our engine issue. Great! Seemed reasonable. They also said we needed new tires and an oil change. Those were facts, the car needed that. The total came to what I felt was reasonable. A few days later the car presents the same problem. We took it back and they tell us it’s another issue. This time we felt that there was price gauging. They say it’s fixed. Fast forward a few weeks, the car presents the same problem. At this point, we don’t trust them to properly diagnose the car so we got help from elsewhere. This time the person that fixed our car charged us $700 less than these people for the same problem. They installed a faulty product and the new mechanic fixed it. Hate that we learned this lesson the hard way and also feel like they owe us what the new mechanic charged us.

Mostly Import is my go-to mechanic shop. They do incredible work. They’re fair and honest. I exclusively go here for everything relating to my car. Jessica and Teresa always make sure I’m taken care of and my car is always in great shape. On average I’m at Mostly Import every other month because of the amount of miles I put on my car for work. I highly recommend them. They have earned my repeat business. I don’t consider other mechanics at this point in time.
