I would chose a different contractor. We called him to replace a part on our dishwasher. But, after he installed a new part we realized it didn’t fix the dishwasher. I have left multiple voice mails to get a hold of him again but have never gotten a return call. He also did not give us a proper invoice preventing us from being reimbursed by the home warranty company.
I called to get my appliance repaired. Dan was able to look up the part and give me a quote over the phone. He was very nice and honest. Unfortunately the replacement part was out of stock and very expensive (glass oven top), so while he gave me a quote he recommended that it would be simpler and cheaper for me to purchase a new stove.
Whoever gave , ‘Dan’ a low rating is a flat out liar !!! He’s been my ,’go to’ appliance repairman for over a decade . He’s done my : washer , stove , refrigerator , washer and dryer . I recently moved . My stove ,’short circuited’ on the front right side and 2 of the other burners we’re not functioning ever since moving in . He re-wired and fixed the problem then turned his attention towards the other coils . This stove is over : 50 years old . As soon as I mentioned the brand-Holiday-he informed me that he already knew it didn’t have a model number . He spent : 5 hours . Parts : 2 coils and switch which he had on hand . Cost for the aforementioned ? $85.00 . Total for everything : $250.00 . Subtract the : $85.00 . $165.00 for 5 of work .Remember , the wiring was fried !!! Very polite and gets to it immediately after entering your home + I’ve never seen him take a break , have something to drink , nothing . His full attention is at the job at hand . There’s no one better . Even comes to your residence at no charge either for that or an estimate . If he can’t fix it….again : free !!! Over : 10 years… never overcharged or ,’shotty’ worksmanship. He’s the best , period !!!
I’m a Realtor who called on Dan’s Appliances to take a look at my Seller’s inoperable washer and dryer. Thank goodness I did! The washer and dryer was repaired, “same day”, and at a reasonable price. Dan’s Appliances saved my Seller money by not having to replace her appliances. Glad I made the telephone call!
Excellent service. When your washing machine breaks and you try to get service from the Giant industry consortium; you will need to expect super poor, over priced service. Dan provided excellent service and at half the time and money that everyone else was offering. I will strongly recommend him to friends and will be calling him to help us in the future.
