Centre Music House

I have taken a few of my guitars to Center Music house, and they have done a great job for me each and every time. Corbit is very communicative, detail oriented, and awesome overall with fair prices as well. As I write this review, I have just been jamming on my Dave Mustaine Rust In Peace, which I never had set up since I bought it in 2010. I took it to Center Music House and after they returned it to me, I can't stop playing it. They resolved several fret issues and this thing feels like a restored Corvette. Most highly recommended (though my neighbors hate me right now lol).

Centre Music House feels like a true community hub. It is a throwback in the best way: friendly, people-focused, and welcoming to musicians of every skill level. We started private lessons here in August with Lisa. She is a fantastic instructor. She’s patient and deeply attuned to her students. She has helped my daughter develop real skill and, more importantly, a love for playing. I can literally hear her celebrating my daughter’s successful attempt of a new piece from outside the studio as I type. If you are looking for a place that cares about the musician as much as the music, this is it.

I'd give these folks six stars if I could. I moved to Mass from Fla a while back. I didn't mind leaving Florida, but hated to leave behind the repair guy I had come to trust. But I had a Fender resonator that had suffered a bit from the move, my wife's mandolin needed some tweaking, and I had bought a vintage lap steel that needed some attention to its electronics. I took them there, and I was amazed. First off, really nice folks and a nice shop with a cool inventory of instruments. It's a community-oriented, independent, family business, with a super friendly staff. The repairs were done really well, faster than I expected, and very fair rates. I'll be back, and I encourage everyone to give them a try.
