Yale has been exceptional in every way and I would highly recommend them. We had an issue with our stove and since we had the warranty coverage Yale was quickly and very effectively able to respond to our concern. Our technician Colin was outstanding in addressing our concerns, replacing the needed parts, and ensuring we were satisfied before he wrapped up. Excellent and professional in every way!
Dorian and his crew were great! They showed up on time, were courteous, and mindful of keeping my apartment clean and damage-free upon delivery. Gerlin and his crew were also great with picking up the old appliance. Also want to acknowledge Tyrone in sales (who has helped me before) and Everett in customer service. Everyone made the experience pleasant and stress free!
Could not have had a better experience. The team was wonderful. They were respectful and friendly. And they did a great job installing the range hood insert in a tight spot.
I would never recommend Yale for any installation of appliances. Four visits over two months their installation teams have been working on our fridge without a full resolution. From their first install the custom panels on our SubZero French Door fridge were misaligned, but we nicely reached out to them (shout out to Adam Law for working with us and advocating) and they scheduled another crew to come out at the same time as our dishwasher install. They show up again and during the dishwasher install they noticed a leak - I had to push hard for them to come back same day, but they did. They installed the new dishwasher (meanwhile they dam... I would never recommend Yale for any installation of appliances. Four visits over two months their installation teams have been working on our fridge without a full resolution. They installed the new dishwasher (meanwhile they damaged my brand new kitchen island to the tune of nearly $600 which was not on my bingo card) and put on the custom panel. They spent nearly an hour working on the fridge panel and "completed the job" - not one hour later we open the fridge and the left panel is sagging again. I turn to do dishes and look at the install which is completely misaligned and hanging out of the cabinet. The crew did notate the damages which we appreciated. I reach out nicely again to Adam and he schedules another crew to come and take a look. New crew shows up a couple days later (both very pleasant) and take the fridge apart again and spends another hour working on the alignment issues - they got the dishwasher as good as possible, but the fridge remains crooked and now the left panel is loose. A fridge that cost $12,000 should look perfect and not rattle when you open the door. I reach out to Adam at this point and ask for my installation money back because we clearly aren't doing well with this task. Adam works with his Managers and I only receive $450 (and $575 for the damage caused which has no bearing on these issues, but being transparent) of my total installation costs back (almost $900). I power through this and we have the final team who came today - again very nice guys - but the fridge remains a problem and the left panel is moving in the casing. It appears the alignment will be off until my final days so I have no resolution. Never once heard from sales (Todd whom I spent $30K+ with) to ask how the process went OR a leader of the installation team to advise on how to get this fixed properly. Surprisingly, I used to work for Yale Appliance and it was sewn into the thread of our work lives to be focused on the customer experience. We had our best team lead (Jeremy was a wizard) in the installation department and we threw weight around when issues like this came up. I am not sure why they aren't focused on the customer with the Installation side, but I feel my family made a big mistake using their install services and I cannot recommend them for any other work my friends and neighbors need. We did a massive kitchen overhaul and I put my trust in Yale just to be let down. Three families are doing their kitchen’s in the neighborhood and have asked us where we got our appliances; I have told them to go elsewhere. It’s a terrible shame when two of them want a full Subzero package deal nearing 40K. I cannot in good faith give them a referral if they could face these same issues. Review the pictures (some taken before all the manipulation to the panels and fitment) and decide if this is what you would want to pay for in your newly renovated kitchen.
Highly recommended! We have had an outstanding experience with Carly Hall, our sales representative and then with Dorian and his team for delivery. Carly patiently, respectfully and knowledgeably answered all our many questions regarding refrigerators, our intended purchase, as well as induction cookers, about which we were curious, and other appliances we are thinking about for the future. She even cooked some items using the induction stove top to show us how it worked! We just received the delivery for our refrigerator and will definitely be going back to Carly for further purchases. The service was done very cleanly, efficiency, knowledge with great respect. He and his team member Valentin spent a good deal of time making sure that the new refrigerator was perfectly balanced with no movement. We have hard wood floors and everything was done so that the floors were not touched at all. Dorian and Valentin are very strong! We also appreciated the live updated delivery tracker letting us know when Dorian and his team would arrive. Dorian and his team are a credit to Yale.
