We Fix It

In October 2025, after I cracked my Samsung phone screen, I brought it here in the hopes of supporting a local, independent business. I wish I hadn't. The tech replaced the screen and frame, and when I picked it up after the repair, I noticed that the screen wasn't fully seated, and there was a small gap in several places. He took it back and used heat to try and seat it better, but it didn't make much difference. I later noticed that the front facing camera was very blurry, and there was clearly some residue or debris on the lens. Today I went to uBreakiFix in Natick, and they informed me that the previous tech used an aftermarket frame and screen, which is probably why they didn't fit properly. They were also able to clean a lot of the gunk off the camera lens during their diagnostic, and now it looks halfway decent. Very disappointed that not only did I not get authentic parts at We Fix It, but the quality of the repair was lacking and introduced new problems with my camera, even after giving the tech a chance to improve the result. I am usually very hesitant to leave negative reviews, and you should take this review with a grain of salt as it is only a single anecdote. However, as a piece of factual information, it's worth noting that for Samsung devices specifically, uBreakiFix is an Authorized Service Provider which requires them to use OEM parts, though I cannot vouch for the quality of their repairs as they haven't yet done an actual repair for me. I would like to know if We Fix It claims to be an Authorized Service Provider for Samsung. I honestly don't remember if they said they were. Also, for what it's worth, the tech here was entirely friendly, so no complaints there.
