Our well pump stopped working over holiday weekend. Nobody was picking up the phone, so we bought a new pump and tried replacing it ourselves since it was an emergency and we have elderly person at home. It turned out the pump is stuck and we were not able to pull it out, so I tried once again calling around for a professional. This guy answered, I explained in detail what the issue is. He said he can fix it and his charges are $1,200 for first two hours, or if we need it sooner on Monday then $2,400. I agreed for $1,200 charge. Day before the service he asked for pictures, which I sent. Then he said I never mentioned him the details, even though I explained everything and without any questions he said he can do it day prior. Now he said he can't help us because he will not earn any money on such project. I continued searching for another contractor. 2 days later we were fined by health department for working without permit, and he was the only one I gave my address to. So yeah... there's that.
