I don’t ever share negative reviews unless the experience truly warrants it, and I feel people should be warned. Taylor Plumbing lies about the work that needs done and up-charges for simple jobs. They will not show you live video of your pipes, but rather obscure photos on a phone that likely aren’t even your pipes. They came out to an investment property I own and charged me extra to remove the toilet in order to remove a clog rather than using the clean out that is located in the yard. They did NOT remove the clog, but instead told me my pipes were collapsed and that I would need “between 2k-12k in work.” I had another company come out the following day who confirmed Taylor Plumbing had lied to me and told me that they repair a lot of Taylor Plumbing jobs. Save yourself the time and $$$ and go elsewhere!
Great job, friendly and thorough. I plan on using Taylor for all my needs. They came highly recommended from a contractor friend Jake Reed whom I totally trust and value not only his friendship but expertise. Their pricing was fair. In this day and age, quality and fair pricing is all you can ask for.
I called Taylor plumbing hoping to get my cold water repaired, I have hot water but no cold. They sent 2 different sets of techs out. The first set walked around a bit didn't look at much, then convinced themselves it was the well, even though every other house has water that is supplied from that well. They then decide that my shut off valve needs changed. Second set of techs come out, 3 hours after they said they were on their way. They put a heater under my house and changed the shut off valve, no change. Without looking any further they then decide that every single one of my faucets were clogged up, only on the cold water side, even though no cold water is going through the lines at all and even though I don't have enough cold water to fill the tanks on my toilets. I asked them to turn the water off, unhook a random cold line and see if there was any flow after turning the water back on for a sec, they didn't want to do so. "It would be too much of a mess." I heard them say a couple times that they were hoping for an early Friday since the systems were down temporarily. Maybe they're better Monday-Thursday but you could definitely tell they just wanted to go home, it was only 230 then they finished. In my opinion they did not have a single care about doing their actual job, figuring out what the real problem was. So I paid almost $300 to have something changed they probably didn't even need to be changed and I am no closer to a resolve. I even canceled an appointment for a different plumber because Taylor was able to come out a few hours sooner, I definitely regret that now. So if you have an issue larger than just changing a faucet or a water line under your sink I'd probably call someone else. :(
I would highly recommend Taylor Plumbing. Scheduling an appointment was easy and customer service was exceptional. The two technicians were on time, efficient, and very personable and polite. They addressed our issue and did a great job! They were very reasonably priced!
