I recently brought my vehicle to Sun Automotive after noticing a low metal shrieking noise coming from one of the wheels. I explained that the issue began shortly after a tire had been removed to replace a component behind it and asked them to complete the replacement and diagnose the noise. After their inspection, I was quoted nearly $1,400 in repairs for the wheel issue alone. I was told that two additional components would need to be replaced, one of which they said “could not be saved.” I decided to seek a second opinion before authorizing the work. Another mechanic determined that the noise appeared to be caused by a loose axle nut. Tightening it fully resolved the issue, and no major components required replacement. Approximately 500 miles later, the vehicle continues to run without issue. Based on this experience, I will be choosing a different shop for future service.

If I could give this place 0 stars. I absolutely would. This establishment was highly recommended by a trusted source. Long story short. I was needing to leave my abusive husband. I went in to get my car looked at before I left and to get a quote so I can get help with repair work done. The agency that was going to help pay for said car repairs let me know that they would accept a check. I went in on my scheduled appt time. I let Cord know that this agency will be paying and I presented the check to him. Not only did he laugh at me, but he also said," We don't accept checks." I presented my case. to him and why it needs to be done. It just fell on deaf ears. I called the agency that gave me the check. To see if the could talk to him. Cord refused to talk to them. Then from there. Cord and another person decided to treat me less than a human. Was it because, I was dressed poor? Who knows. But I left with clothes on my back. So, I didn't look my best. I left that establishment feeling defeated. I'm not sure about the other Sun Automotives. I would most definitely not go to this one.

I was on my way to work yesterday morning around 7:45am and my car was starting to over heat from a cracked radiator that’s been long over due of maintenance and needing several other repairs as well. My car had died on me and as I was struggling trying to cool it down with water as I ran out of all coolant I had left. I was getting ready to walk to work when two very nice gentlemen approached me from Sun Automotive to offer help. They immediately assessed how bad of condition my car was in and told me they didn’t want to leave me stranded and they were going to take care of me. They had a very kind woman co worker show up in a matter of minutes with coolant and offered me a ride to work as they asked if it would be ok to take a look at my car as I went to work. I received a call around 12:30pm that they had already ordered a new radiator and were working on getting it in along with replacing my hoses, thermostat, coolant and performing an oil change. I had no idea what I was walking into for costs of the repairs but knew I was in great hands. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Craig and general manger Josh and they completely changed the course of the stress level I’ve been dealing with in my life. I am still in shock with how kind they all were and honestly restored my faith in humanity.. they told me happy holidays and didn’t have me pay for any of their work. Thank you to everyone who helped me out at Sun Automotive yesterday. You guys are actual angels.

Sun Auto took great care of my car. The tune-up was top-notch, and they were honest about the tire pressure sensor repair, even suggesting a cheaper option elsewhere. That level of integrity and quality speaks volumes.

First time using Sun Automotive and I had a fantastic experience. Mechanical work was completed on time and no issues with the repair. Their ride service is very timely and a great benefit. Cord and Sally work the front desk and they are very knowledgeable and pleasant. The invoice matched the quote (nothing added that we did not already talk about). I will definitely use them again and highly recommend Sun Automotive for your car repair needs.
