Stone Craft

We had a fantastic experience with Stonecraft, and especially with Nadia. From our initial inquiry to installation was less than two weeks; an incredibly quick turnaround. Communication throughout the entire process was impeccable. The follow-up and follow-through were seamless, and the fabricators who came to our home were professional, punctual, and paid great attention to detail. The tile contractors were some of the best and everything is perfect. The quartz countertops are absolutely beautiful, and the pricing was very competitive. Nadia was wonderful to work with; knowledgeable, responsive, and never pushy. She truly worked with us to make sure we were happy every step of the way. We couldn’t be more pleased with the results and highly recommend Stonecraft and Nadia.

While Nadia has been more than pleasant to work with I cannot say the same for Chris (the owner) and the installation crew. I am an extremely unhappy customer who is left with subpar work and subpar product and two companies (the supplier and fabricator) pointing fingers. Here I’ll address the work that Stone Craft did. Upon installation, the countertops were cracked in two places. One, not optimal but I’m willing to live with it vs removing the countertops and being redone. The other crack was beyond repair although the technician tried to leave me with it. When addressed with Chris, he only agreed to replace the countertop (which would mean a new slab) after I informed him I had pictures to prove the crack was not there when I purchased the slab. So be sure to take lots of pictures of your slabs. He first wanted to try to fix the crack before replacing which I agreed to. The crack was so bad that it left the counter unlevel. It was apparent to me that this couldn’t be fixed but Chris assured me he could fix it to the point I wouldn’t see it. I waited weeks for him to try to fix it and reinstall. Before installing, I went to the warehouse to inspect it. As I suspected, it looked the same as when he removed it. My only choice was to find another slab to try to match the now existing counters. Unfortunately, with a natural stone that is nearly impossible so I am left with slight color differences between my island and perimeter counters. There was also a question about the quality of the slabs that were initially used. They were priced at premium level although both supplier and fabricator (Stone Craft) agree something was wrong with them (VERY rough surface and higher than normal amount of air pockets within slab); to the point they shouldn’t have been used per Nadia. And that’s where the finger pointing exists with me left with the bill and subpar work.
