A five star rating honestly doesn’t do Shav-Tronics justice. I stopped in on a Tuesday with a pretty beat up Dolphin M600 and had it back before the weekend. They fixed the connectivity issue I was having, but also went above and beyond by replacing worn and missing parts that technically didn’t stop the unit from working. What I got back was essentially a like new pool cleaner. Customer service was excellent throughout the whole process. Based on my experience, I genuinely don’t recognize the business some of these one-star reviews are describing. I would recommend Shav-Tronics in a heartbeat, and I have a lot more confidence in future Dolphin purchases knowing this team is local.

Sent in a Maytronics pool cleaning robot for warranty service. Maytronics supplied the incorrect serial number on the work order, and they initially could not complete the repair job because of that. I had to act as a go between to solve the issue and get the correct serial number to Shav-Tronics. I spent hours on the phone with Maytronics over the course of days. Shav-Tronics made no attempt to communicate directly with Maytronics and sort the situation out. After I found and supplied the correct serial number in my records, the repair was completed and the robot was sent back to me. That's not the end of it. Not only did Maytronics enter the incorrect serial number, but also input the wrong address on the work order. Fedex only allows the shipper to amend the address. I called Shav-Tronics and Paul, who I believe is the owner, said it was my fault the address was incorrect and was not willing to help. After this he said he hoped he never heard from me again. This left me having to get Fedex management involved in correcting the address. Between Maytronics & Shav-Tronics this has been one of the worst customer service experiences I've had in a long time. Stay far away from this repair facility if possible.

I inherited a 32 year old heavy duty Kitchen Aid mixer from my mother and it is my most prized kitchen possession. I noticed a little bit of leaking and also wasn’t sure if the sound it was making was normal. It still worked but, rather than risk causing damage, I took it in for a diagnostic. They checked it out and fixed a loose bearing and the leakage, and also let me know it was in great shape for its age. The price was very reasonable. The diagnostic cost is paid up front and goes towards any repairs. As an authorized repair shop, my mixer was in great hands and the staff were really friendly and straightforward. Packed full of sentimental value and a childhood full of memories baking with my mother, I was a little worried about taking it over, but they took excellent care of my priceless heirloom, and now it’s ready to rock and roll for another 30+ years.
