The owner likes to scream at new employees in front of customers. The owner likes to scream at their employees for doing their job. The owner also said he only hunts "people" when asked if he hunts. Don't get your machine serviced here. Go to M+M for your small engine needs.
Bob and Judy are the best, and care for their customers. I bought a lawnmower a couple years back and the experience was great, and I will continue to use them for all my needs. I recently broke a spring on my snowblower right before a storm so I ordered one on line but it wasn't going to be here before the next storm so I went to RJ's to see if they had one. Both Bob and Judy spent some time trying to track down the proper spring, along with phone calls, but it was proving difficult, so Bob went above and beyond. Bod went to his garage and found a spring that should work until I get the one I ordered. Probably shouldn't call this out but I need to show the depth of their customer service and care. Bob let me have the spring for free as it wasn't the right one, but it worked and savedme from hours of back breaking shoveling. Thank You for treating me the way you did, I will continue to tell this story again and again and will be a loyal customer.
I had my snowblower in there for service on three occasions and they never fixed my blower. They never attempted to repair the flywheel which had some broken teeth, when it was in for a tune-up the spark plug was never changed and there was still a carburetor issue. They did mess up my choke whereby I had to bring it in again for them to reconnect a wire that was loose. They are not a place where you should bring your snowblower for a repair. If you want your repairs done right the first time go to a quality shop in Holyoke. They are the real deal.
RJ's repaired my snow blower that had issues accumulating over the years and eventually wouldn't start. Machine was made in 2016, after diagnostics and hearing how much repairs would cost, I had to think it over because it wasn't cheap. Did my own research and spoke with RJ where they assisted comparing what would it cost to get a new snow blower similar to mine today and if it would be worth to spend the money on repairs. They were very honest and transparent.
I chose to have RJ perform the repairs. I just used the snow blower to clean up 1st snow storm and I will honestly say that my machine is running better then when it was new!!!! No exaggeration, better then new! All discovered problems fixed as well as 360 degree maintenance on equipment performed.
Money well spent, flawless experience all around. Would recommend RJ's to anyone else.
Thank you.
When nobody was interested in repairing my 17 year old snow blower, that runs perfectly except for the skids & scraper, RJ's had no problem finding the parts in about 2 hours. Hopefully, I expect it will out last me. They don't make these power units anymore, or people willing to fix them.
