A gem of a little music store. Family owned. Just bought a used trombone. Plenty of time to try it out, to discuss it with them, and even upgrade my tuner. NO PRESSURE. Fair price. Sam, the nephew helped me out, and couldn't be. more patient and helpful. DON'T BUY AN ANONYMOUS INSTRUMENT ON THE INTERNET. SHOP LOCAL.
Great locally owned family music shop. They always are so kind and make an effort to help. Good people and great prices.
I would not recommend this music shop for school rentals. Was not seamless as website describes. Experienced low quality rental that was broken upon arrival. Customer service staff had rude and poor responses over the phone and could use some re-training on handling customers and resolving their issues. Buyer/renter beware, we will not be renting from this shop again.
Recently I brought a French Horn to Gerry's for review and repair. My daughter is a student at a conservatory and has been having problems with this specific horn that she loves to play. After months of having professionals review the issue with vibration, at her school, and unable to recreate it and repair, I took it to Gerry's as she was home briefly. I know this is rarely the case, but the technician was able to evaluate the issue and then repair much quicker then I would have ever thought. The technician recreated the issue very quickly and discovered it was an air leak. The repair staff were knowledgeable, thorough & understood the importance this instrument has to its owner. They actually found other issues that were not yet realized and addressed. I would recommend Gerry's to anyone needing maintenance or repair as well as with the purchase of an instrument. I have done both on several occasions and was never disappointed or dissatisfied with the experience.
