Larry's Heating Hardware & Plumbing Supply

I went to Larry’s Heating, Hardware & Plumbing Supply as a last resort after visiting three other plumbing stores. Here’s a little backstory: I had taken the drain out of my tub, thinking it would be a simple fix. Turns out, it’s an old tub that needed a pretty specific piece(at least some kind of adapter) and I couldn’t find it anywhere. While I didn’t end up finding the exact part, I want to give a huge shoutout to Richard at Larry’s. He went above and beyond, he gave me advice, helped clean the old piece, and even let me borrow his tool so I could get everything back in place. I was seriously so grateful. For context, at the first plumbing store I visited, the guy just threw my stuff on the counter and told me to call a plumber. I get it I’m a woman walking into a plumbing shop…but Larry’s made me feel capable and encouraged me to be a problem-solver. I don’t know what else to say except thank you. Please support local businesses like this one. They make a real difference. 🙏

It should be called "Richards" and he's the man. You're not going to walk into a big box store and get the knowledge and service experience he is fortunate enough to possess, ever! Small business keeping his nose above the water, could have sold this homeowner a whole new Simmons shower valve ($$$), but spotted a loose part, said there's your problem, fixed it and off I went, no charge! That's what business is all about, love it there. I would highly recommend stopping in before even considering the others, huge inventory from soup to nuts for any of your homeowner needs, don't let the storefront front mislead you, may be narrow, but it keeps on going once inside.
