Open Box Appliances

We were looking for over the range microwave and decided to check out Open Box Appliances. They had good selection of units and Kaine was a great help in selecting a new microwave! With a full year warranty. We got a great deal, almost 60% off retail. The location looks a little shady but the deals are not! Kaine even called a week later to make sure we were happy with our purchase. We are! We would definitely purchase again if we needed an appliance.

I wanted to share and express my amusement and bewilderment of what we found here at Openbox Appliances in Muncie hands down an amazing store! We had purchased a all-in-one washer and dryer which I didn't even know existed until I came to the store and the ease of the shopping experience was everything you want. The relaxation not being pressured and when it came to purchasing item there was an ease knowing that there are appliance came with a 1-year warranty and we were able to opt in to purchase a extended warranty which we did then to have purchased and set up delivery with their delivery company within the same day. It was amazing. The delivery company came and picked up our old washer and dryer setup and installed our new one and made sure it ran before leaving about 30 minutes outside of Muncie. They delivered for a very reasonable cost and couldn't have asked for a better experience all around. Highly recommend if you're looking for something and don't mind a few dents and dings to check out open box appliances in Muncie!!

Refrigerator shopping at the end of November 2025. Was pleasantly surprised by the huge selection to choose from. Some with scratch and dents others looked flawless. Kane was very knowledgeable and patient. He explained how all appliances are checked to confirm they are working properly. Checkout is quick and product registration information is provided. Pricing is so much less than the big box stores sale prices. Do a little price checking first then head here for a better deal. This is my second purchase and will shop again. Thank you Kane.

I'm so glad that we went with Openbox Appliances! We were able to get a NEW fridge at about HALF the cost from buying from a big box store. I'll admit, I was pretty nervous ordering a fridge online without seeing it in person or talking to a person face to face. Their website marked the dents clearly. Their communication was top notch! They even texted with shipping updates because I was having a hard time accessing the information. When the fridge arrived it was packaged and shipped professionally, as to not allow other damage. I was super pleased to find that the fridge was exactly what was described. Bonus! It had all of the cellophane and tape on it like it came straight from the manufacturer. I've never bought from a place like this and wasnt sure what to expect. The fridge came with the 1 year manufacturing warranty and they offer extended warranty options as well.
