Received excellent customer service today from Jason in plumbing. He went above and beyond to help remedy a kitchen drain issue and figure out the best solution. He took the time to pick out all the necessary parts and made sure I knew how to assemble them. I appreciated his dedication to his job and customer service. Thank you Jason!! Lowe’s is lucky to have you.
Do NOT use Lowe’s fence install services. We signed a contract and FULLY paid in May. Install time for the fence was July. We know some delays are inevitable, but what we didn’t except was it to be pushed back repeatedly until NOVEMBER. This is for just a chain link fence. Delays were for multiple reasons but had nothing to due with the company that was subcontracted to install, they were great. All delays were on Lowe’s. First was a delay was because the sales guy (Kevin) forgot to order anything. Then some parts came in, which were of course delayed and then while we were waiting for the rest of the parts, they gave the parts that had come in away to a different project so then we were back to waiting for more parts… they finally say they have all the parts and they deliver them to the house, Kimball and Sons did the actual install, and they were there the day after delivery again they were great. I cannot speak highly enough about them, but they get to the house and look at the material Lowe’s ordered and it’s not correct. It’s for the wrong size fence. We need a 6 foot fence and they delivered pieces for a four or 5 foot fence so then we were again back to waiting. But instead of just waiting, we had to wait a week for the install services of Lowe’s to be able to contact the sales guy Kevin to have him even correctly order the correct parts. Eventually, it finally got installed early November, 4 months AFTER the original agreed install date.
Save your money and your sanity and go with a local fencing company. Lowe’s may say that they have an earlier install date, but it’ll be way later and you’ll have to play project manager because once Lowe’s gets your money they don’t care when or if you get a fence.
