I had an issue where my laptop would not turn on unless it was plugged in. I brought it in to these guys and they were able to diagnose the problem within about a week! While they couldn't fix it because it was a motherboard issue, the whole consultation and ordeal was completely free. I think other places would have charged me a fee to diagnose the problem, so these guys are awesome!
We are very happy with the service we received from Nerds To Go to upgrade our WiFi to a mesh system. We live in an older home with thick walls, and we had several dead zones — including in my office. After a couple of video conferencing calls dropped due to poor signal, I started researching ways to improve our home WiFi but wasn’t sure what the best solution would be. Trey at Nerds To Go quickly prepared a quote with three options at different price points and took the time to answer all my questions. Within one week, they installed the new system in our home, including ensuring the proper placement of the mesh nodes. The results have been remarkable. The dead zones are gone, and we went from getting less than 1 Mbps in some areas (basically dial-up speeds) to ~350 Mbps throughout the house. I highly recommend Trey and his team!
Matt, Trey and the team were so incredible to work with in putting wifi access points throughout my home. The experience from beginning to end was so easy and satisfying. Trey came out right away to look at the house (others wanted to charge me to visit). Gave me a quote and then Matt and an installer came the day of and consulted with me and made recommendations on where to put the access points to get the best service throughout the house. And their recommendations were more difficult than what I expected them to say due to install complexity. Now I have no dead zones in my house and the kids aren't complaining anymore :) If you are thinking of paying for another mesh system save your money so you can get it done right by Matt and this team - access points are the only way to go if you want strong service everywhere. I am so thankful I found them:)
They were professional, efficient and very reasonably priced. I had an emergent situation and they responded immediatly. They diagnosed and corrected the issue with in an hour. NerdsToGo will not deceive you and is refreshingly transparent.
I had a desktop that was 8 1/2 years old and was running with a Windows 10 operating system that was no longer going to be supported by Microsoft. In need of an update, I contacted the Moon Twp location of Nerds to Go. Trey and his team could not have been more helpful. They helped me choose an appropriate new computer (notebook), installed Windows 11, set me up with a docking station and helped me to install Microsoft office programs. Trey offered and provided support for some system startup hiccups, and everything is working well with my new hardware and software.
