I went in to have my iPhone restored after a large update that essentially bricked my phone. I gave it to the girl who said it would take about 20 minutes. After about 5 she came out saying that she couldn't do it. This was completely not her fault, if she couldn't do anything, she couldn't do it. It was her response to me receiving the news that kind of put a sour taste in my mouth. She said "Your phone is essentially a paperweight, idk what to do and idk what youre going to do with it." It was very passive and unhelpful, instead of offering any advice or alternatives she sent me out the door. I then called Apple Support, where I spoke to a very professional and nice representative, who apologized on Megabyte's behalf for the lack of help and frankly rude customer service. The representative then sent me to Best Buy where they wiped the phone and were extremely helpful. This entire experience was unhelpful and passive. I hope in the future customer service can be prioritized in interactions!
