I brought in a beautiful leather jacket that needed the sleeves to be shorter by 1.5 inches. They did a great job with standard prices. I love wearing my jacket now!

Stopped in to get the shoulders fixed on an off-the-rack suit jacket along with getting some shirt sleeves shortened. They fit perfectly for a really reasonable price! Being able to speak Cantonese or Mandarin will speed things up but they also speak English just fine. Love the mom and pop feel.
This is a great find in downtown Oakland. I've taken all kinds of clothes there, from jeans to pants that needed resizing after I dropped a few pounds. They even did a fantastic job on my son's suits for a fancy event. Every time, they've nailed it and made my clothes fit perfectly. Best part is that It's super affordable as compared to going to a dry cleaner. The couple working there are professional and helpful, and they always know just what to do to make my clothes look great. I seriously can't believe how much they've transformed my wardrobe without emptying my bank account. Parking can be a pain, but everyone in Chinatown has a penchant of double parking and the police never seems to care.
This is a great place for alteration! You do need to speak Chinese to communicate (or if you have a friend that does), great price, hemming my pants cost $5, my suit sleeves length were altered for $35 only, most places at least charge $50. You do have to find parking on the street or in the Pacific Renaissance garage, which usually leads to a short walk. I didn't care for the other stuff they are selling inside (really random stuff like pot and pans, rats trap π€ etc), but it can interesting if you have to wait for alteration and just wanna kill time lol.
