The service representatives were very polite and explained what they were going to do so I understood. They showed me the final results and cleaned everything up and you wouldn't even know they were here. If I need to have this service done again I would definitely have Indor Air Professionals do the job
Hector and Marcus were on time and hardworking. They made sure everything was cleaned and complete before leaving. My heating and cooling ducts and dryer vent were cleaned. The Carberra gel treatment was so pleasant. I have noticed a quieter running furnace and no dust in the sunlight. My house is 100 years old and I am the second owner. We found an adorable spoon which has had a home in the ducts for many years.
The entire company is very good at communicating. There is no high-pressure sales. On the day of service, the technicians called ahead to say when exactly they would be arriving. A whole team of people attacked my house and cleaned my ductwork which contained 42 years of dust. There was an immediate difference in the ambience smell of the house, Clean. I did have some minimal damage to paint on air vents, but nothing that a couple bucks couldn't fix. I found this company through Jim Salmon Home Repair Clinic on WHAM. Mr. Salmon recommended them and so do I.
I have gone back and forth about sharing my experience from February but I wish someone would have warned me, so I’m sharing my experience for others. I contacted 3 companies to clean my ducts and get estimates. Indoor Air Professionals was over $500 higher than others, but I chose them as they said they provide a higher quality with their patented machine, which will have much less holes in my ducts and better cleaning as they push and pull…. I’m very disappointed in the service, quality of work and the photos attached prove it. These were taken right after they cleaned! I came early at 6 am to the house to take off all of the vents as many were painted to make it easy for their team when they arrived at 8am and because I could take the time to have minimal damages which took lots of time plus a lot of effort to not peel the paint. Imagine my shock when I went through the rooms after and saw they put them back on the wrong way in many areas, so the paint lines didn’t line up, they made damage to the walls, screws and vents when they put them back on, as they should only go back on one way especially when painted. They said because they were originally upside down, which doesn’t matter they should go on the same way they were. Also there were not 1 or 3 holes in the ducts but 12 new holes made, even though they promised less holes than others. I sent all of this to the company, they sent out a technician Hector to review all of this, which he confirmed and while he was here, he actually discovered my basement dryer duct was actually completely disconnected from the outdoor vent when they cleaned it and was blowing right back into the house which an extreme fire hazard! Thankfully he reconnected it with the HVAC metal tape I had on hand luckily! I had to spend additional time and money painting the walls and the vents AGAIN in the rooms which were just freshly painted by professionals as Indoor Air recommended they complete their work after the painting and floors were done to clean all of the dust in the ducts. To make matters worse they loosened a piece of drywall tape on the vent in the 2nd floor bedroom and every time the furnace kicked on, it would hit the walls and flap inside so I had to call another company to come and get it out! I reached out multiple times tot he company, I sent 4 emails and left 3 voice messages and received ZERO responses until finally I called each day after 3 weeks later. Laurie said it was because there was a video attached of the errors “that did not allow her to receive it” yet that doesn’t explain why she didn’t get my 3 voice messages. After my persistence she asked me what can to make this right? I was so caught off guard and upset that I just said a $200 credit which I completely regret! I actually shouldn’t have to pay for the awful service at all!!! But I paid $1,386.48 like a fool! Even their filters caused an error, so I couldn’t use them with my Ecobee thermostat. I EVEN had to pay another company to correct their errors. When I reached out again to Keith the program manager, he actually said “Laurie has been very responsive with your concerns” that’s laughable! Be warned, just because it’s more expensive doesn’t mean they provide a higher quality service, I have each email and phone call documented and I provided all of this to the company and these photos provide the proof you need not to contact Indoor Air Professionals as Keith’s final response is “I don’t believe that there is anything else that we can do for you and sorry that you did not have a good experience with our company.”
