I recently purchased a new desktop computer from computer Barn to replace my 10 year old desktop tower computer. Joe asked me how I use the computer and suggested a product that meets my needs, is light years ahead of my old box, and is a tiny fraction of the size. He transferred the data to the new box showed me the easiest way to backup the computer to an external drive which is also tiny. Had I gone to a box store or the web to purchase, I never would have know about the options Joe suggested which are perfect for me. On another issue, I had problems with my old printer which were resolved by Cole through their remote assistance service option. This saved me the time an effort to get the problem fixed without having to physically bring the equipment into the store. I highly recommend the Computer barn for computer sales and service. I've recently had 2 bring in 2 laptops for service and they went in barely working and came back to me a couple of days later like they were brand new. Then the one laptop got zapped by a power surge during to a ⚡ strike during one of our recent severe thunderstorm ⛈️. The external power supply, internal power supply and a couple of other internal items all needed to be replaced. Again I had the laptop back in 2 days. The cost of each of the three repairs was unexpectedly moderate. I highly recommend the Computer Barn for all your computing needs. They will not steer you the wrong way. 👏👏👏👏

I’ve had mixed experiences with this store. On past visits, the staff were helpful and engaging, which made me eager to shop local and support this business. However, during my most recent visits, I’ve encountered a few challenges that have left me feeling undervalued as a customer. One of these was when the store owner informed me the register was already cashed out and the store had closed 15 minutes earlier—information I would have appreciated knowing before attempting to make a purchase. Additionally, during a later visit, the customer service felt rushed and less welcoming, with a $20 consultation fee applied that wasn’t clearly explained upfront. I had been planning to invest about $1,000 into building a computer, but the most recent staff member insisted that I would need to spend no less than $1,200—a statement I know to be inaccurate. This was disappointing and contributed to my decision to reconsider future purchases. While I value supporting local businesses, these experiences have made me question whether this store is the right fit for my needs. I hope this feedback can help improve transparency and customer interactions, as I see great potential in this business.
