I’m not at all surprised by the overwhelming 5-star reviews this business has earned, they’re well deserved! I’ve never had a better experience at a jewelry store, and that’s exactly why I keep coming back. Every associate I’ve interacted with has been wonderful, especially Olivia and Crystal. I don’t get the chance to visit Carson often, but whenever I’m in Northern Nevada, this store is always a must on my to-do list. Olivia spent so much time with me, patiently showing me every piece I wanted to see, never once did I feel rushed or pressured (which is rare at jewelry stores!). Crystal was just as amazing, showing me beautiful pieces and even pulling out items she had set aside because she thought I might like them. If you want to see what true 10/10 customer service looks like, visit this place. As a business owner myself, I find their level of care and professionalism truly inspiring. I absolutely love this store!

So.. I have always recommended this place to all of my friends and family! I purchased my favorite gold Omega watch there for an absolute bargain years ago.. I suggested my step mother to Carson Jewelry & Loan for a diamond ring that she wanted, long story short Derek helped her get a great deal on the ring. While we were there, I was looking at some gold chains and spotted a real nice solid yellow gold rope chain, good condition and priced with a premium (understandable). Well I went in 2 weeks later, and saw the price had gone up dramatically, due to the recent price of gold going up, and I reacted very poorly. But what makes this place really stand out, is the fact that the owner of the shop saw that I was disappointed, and went out of his way OFFERING to get in touch with me in order to work something out. I am VERY satisfied to say he was able to bring the price down to an exceptionally low premium above the melt value of the gold! Very fair market value on a solid gold chain when I did the math. It was definitely comparable to online reputable dealers selling mint condition used chains (in terms of gold value + a premium) and to be honest I would rather support my towns local jewelry shop, than an online shop, especially when Carson Jewelry & Loan has a more competitive price than anywhere online for a solid gold chain! 💯 Special thanks to Mark for making the deal happen, and Jamie for helping me out while picking up the chain at a finalized price! She gave me the red carpet treatment for sure, and handled the sale very professionally as she even offered if I drank wine (which I dont so I declined) and a water while I was waiting for final packaging, she answered all my questions, let me look at a real nice gold vintage Patek Philippe (if you know, you know) and they gave me a $100 store credit for all the misunderstanding! Great customer service, great atmosphere, great prices! Win win for a locally owned jewelry shop in Carson City! 🧡
