Carson Antiques & Collectables Mall

The store itself was fine. However, I never made it all the way through. About halfway through my shopping I was approached by a sketchy looking man who claimed to be an employee. He told me I needed to leave my bag up front behind the counter. I have been using a very small soft, quilted Disneyworld backpack as my purse. Think Loungefly size but smaller and soft. Was told that women's bags were known to hit and break the display cabinet glass. Keep in mind, every single female in the store was carrying a purse or bag of some sort, large and small, and no one was saying anything to them. I had also previously been approached by other staff asking if I needed help finding anything with no one commenting on my bag. The store also provides shopping baskets and metal full size shopping carts so the excuse about breaking glass was absurd. I was clearly being profiled, perhaps even trying to be robbed. Needless to say I told this man he was crazy if he thought I was leaving my purse with a bunch of strangers. I turned around and left. Will not be back.

Most staff was friendly a few elder mean looking women 😜 who clearly never been outside of Carson city. . Located near the end of Carson City 🏙️. This really is a "mall" or flea market type of antique store with tons to see.. probably the biggest I have seen so far. Lots of cool stuff and decently priced . They have a bathroom so you can take your time browsing. Recommend a stop by if you are in the area and want to see some collectables.
