Zimmerman Plumbing and Heating Service

Review Summary I haven't needed a plumber the 25 years I've lived in my house—until, all of a sudden, last night—and, by this morning, I found myself with a plumber-for-life! I can't think of anything that could have made this service call any better. Details I spoke with Rachel to coordinate the service, and she sent their technician, Colin. Rachel was kind polite, listened, and was easy to work with. Colin was fantastic. He diagnosed the leak and was encouraging by complimenting my overnight solution to keep the leak from spraying. He explaining to me that I showed interested in knowing, and showed me the problem. I felt confident in his experience and the workmanship I observed. Because he had explained the problem and showed me the issue I was having, I was able to then provide him with additional information that I thought may have contributed, and he confirmed that to be true, so, while he was here, he also repaired that situation which will have a beneficial effect on my pipes and connections going forward. I was comfortable having Colin in my home to perform the repair, which a key factor for me, and I appreciated his demeanor throughout. Oh!! And, while I was quoted one price, since the project didn't take as long as anticipated, Colin amended the final invoice to accurately reflect the time spent on the repair. A potentially negative situation (hole in a pipe spraying water in my basement, was handled with such—such something I can't quite find the word for—that, because everything was handled so smoothly, my anxiety diminished to the point that, except for these residual positive feelings toward Zimmerman Plumbing and Heating, it feels like the issue never happened. I wouldn't want to hope for a plumbing issue, but if I had to choose a problem with my house, that's what I'd want because I wouldn't have to even wonder who to call. Zimmerman Plumbing and Heating would be my first and only call. My review might sound over the top, but it's all true...it was just such a relief to have an "Oh, no!" crisis resolved with so much ease. Hahaha.... I just re-read my review and feel like I have to add one last thing for any who might wonder—I have absolutely no relationship with this company beyond having them for the first time, today. It simply was just THAT good of an experience that I can't help but share! I have found that so many find it incredibly easy to criticize, but (imo) I think it's so much more important to share the good experiences, and this was one of them! Woke up this morning to our house cold and our boiler not working properly. I called Zimmerman's emergency line and received a call back within 10-15 minutes to schedule a service call. She was very helpful and very knowledgeable with what to expect with pricing, which was very reasonable. I was originally told to expect someone between 3-6 but was pleasantly surprised when I received a call asking if I would be available at noon for the technician to come out. Jordan came out and was able to diagnose and fix the problem very quickly. He was very honest in regard to ways to keep the cost of the repairs as low as possible while still making sure our system would run properly. He also took the time to answer all my questions I had about the system and explained how the different components operated in a way that was easy to understand. Super cool guy with a lot of knowledge! This is our first time using Zimmerman but will definitely be returning customers! Highly recommend this company!

We needed emergency service on our Warmboard system which is a custom radiant floor heating system. We called at 8am on a Saturday morning and our technician arrived by 4pm. The customer service over the phone was superb - kind, detail oriented, and despite having given us a 2hr window in the afternoon, she called us again when our technician was on his way. It was really thoughtful. Our technician, Matt, was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Their rates were reasonable and fair. He was efficient (even though we talked his ear off). Excellent experience! Zimmerman is officially our go-to-guys (and gals)!
