A good place to thrift shop & they always have good deals on groceries
I just had the worst experience coming into this establishment. As with any business I expect to be treated with respect. As I was looking through a round jewelry display a young long-haired blond girl ask me to move so she could allow another customer to the display. When I brought it to her attention that I was still looking she replied that the customer was ready to pay therefore I was moved to the side for her to shop. I explained that I didn’t agree with her actions as I was still shopping. I left the store with a bitter taste in my mouth and hoping that someone monitors this page and addresses the issue so noone has to go through this awful experience. By the way, this event happened on November 20th @ 2:20pm.
“This store has a nice selection of thrift clothing, and one of the employees—a kind girl with long dark hair—is always helpful. However, I’ve had uncomfortable experiences with some of the younger staff members. I’ve noticed unprofessional behavior, including staring, gossiping, and an overall unwelcoming attitude toward customers. In one instance, when I addressed their behavior, it escalated to them involving law enforcement unnecessarily. I would advise management to address these issues to ensure a more positive shopping environment.” Re: Your response suggests a commitment to de-escalation, yet your actions did the opposite. Rather than addressing the situation appropriately, your staff chose to escalate matters by involving law enforcement, despite no legitimate cause for such a response. It appears this was done to cover up inappropriate and cruel treatment rather than to ensure anyone’s safety. Removing me from the store and threatening arrest for trespassing was not a resolution—it was an abuse of authority. If your management is truly open to discussing this, I expect an honest conversation about your staff’s conduct and how such situations should be handled in the future. Let me know how you’d like to proceed.
