The kind of place that doesn’t even carry the local produce as a feature! It’s the pistachios that were local were hidden on a top shelf and very few in number yet the town that this chain store resides in here it’s supposedly the pistachio capital of the world. At least self proclaimed. There were definitely Texas and California representation in produce as well as masks being worn in 2026 New Mexico…
I had a perfectly pleasant experience until meeting the Checker, “Joseph” in lane 3. Things quickly digressed and he refused to sell me wine because I asked him if he needed my granddaughters birthday. Very odd power struggle taking the supervisor and frontline manager to resolve. Thankfully, Penny quickly saw through the charade and told him to move aside so she could check me out. He seemed so nice at first, the power trip was unexpected and unwarranted. It really soured my shopping experience.

Thank you to the wonderful Bakery staff. We had a custom birthday cake made for our kid. The cake was decorated exactly as we requested. The cake was soft and delicious. The cake decoration was spot on. Thank you to the bakery team for making a kid smile 😊
Albertsons the and Walmart are the two main places here in Alamogordo. Albertsons definitely has a nice setup. It's easy to get around and fast to get what you need and be out of there. That's nice that it's not as big as the bigger Walmart and it just seems like there's less crime when people do go
