I could not afford to buy a brand new Garmin Instinct Solar so I bought a “used in like new condition” watch for a little bit less than new price on eBay. Unfortunately, I got scammed and was sold a defective watch for a good amount of money (several hundred dollars). I was beside myself, eBay refused to give me my money back because I bought it as a “guest” and Chase said their hands were tied because of eBay. So now I was out several hundred dollars, no watch, and no way of replacing the watch. I needed that watch to track HRM and I had been saving up for a long time to buy it. It really broke my heart. My boyfriend found someone at his job who could repair the watch but unfortunately it needed a certain and very special kind of glue to reseal it. He tried 6 repair/stores and either they didn’t have it or they wouldn’t sell it to him. He got ahold of Alamo Device Repair the owner was beyond kind and very helpful. He was the only person willing to help and I am so, SO beyond grateful. I would only use Alamo Device Repair for any electronic needs in the future. Thank you so much. ✨
