I have lived in the Back Mountain area for over 4 years now. I have walked past Ye Olde Clock and Gift Shoppe many times but never entered. I was always running an errand, rushing around. I went in for the first time today, and it was a sight to behold. This gem of a store in Dallas, PA sells treasures like Tiffany lamps, Turkish lamps, grandfather clocks, but the store itself is the treasure. The 100 year old typewriter and 90 year old cash register in perfect condition were like something out of a museum. The service by Hailey was top notch - she showed me how to care for the Turkish lamps I bought, and introduced me to my new favorite scented oil, a vanilla-sandalwood blend. I could tell she loved the items there as much as I did. If you're looking for a unique gift and you want to support a small local business, I highly recommend this store.
