The experience was so good that I'm thinking of breaking my clock again just to have Tom come back. Professional, knowledgeable, expert in every way. His precision and attention to detail were exceptional. He resurrected the clock my wife and father in law built together 40 years ago - a legit Grandfather clock now. Tom is a wealth of knowledge and I greatly appreciated him teaching me about the clock as he worked through the repair. Would recommend without reservations!
1st thing I’d say to prospective customers is if you value top-notch old fashion service Tom provides it. Tom fixed my heirloom Howard Miller clock today 12/1/25 while providing me with a valuable education regarding my clock. Background-My clock is a 3rd generation Howard Miller clock coming to us from my wife’s father. Have had in our procession for a “couple of yrs” now. Went through paperwork I found recently inside cabinet (didn’t even know it was there all this time LOL). Discovered that it was purchased 10/74 partially financed thru Goodyear Bank for delivery in Dec 1974-perhaps a Xmas gift to Grandma? Any how it’s now 51yr old! Additionally found a receipt for a service in 2006 while my father-n-law had it. Did you know that these clocks should be serviced every 5 yrs? Probably not because they just run & run like the Energizer bunny due to German engineering and craftmanship. Back to the review- Tom’s communication method is by text. When you go to set up an appointment be prepared to wait a bit for your service. Which based on the level of service Tom provides is well worth it. If this is an issue for you, I’d counter with- you have to wait these days for a doctor or dentist appointment, right? You won’t regret the wait. When setting up your appointment inquire about payment method(s) to avoid any surprises. Also be prepared to be flexible-Tom strongly believes in doing the job right and not rushing things so appointments may need to be re-scheduled or adjusted depending on the previous appointment that day. In my case he had to re-schedule/adjust his next one because mine took a bit longer to complete (sorry to that person in Stow). In conclusion I HIGHLY recommend Tom’s Antique Clock LLC for any clock service you may need. Definitely TOP-NOTCH & you won’t regret it.
