They were able to figure out how to get my Gucci watch open (several jewelry stores had given up) replaced the battery at a very fair price, while I waited) had a watch band that was a perfect match, and learned that their main business is expert clock repair. They are all around awesome and I finally have a clock repair shop that is truly expert. Everyone should check them out!

I stopped by to have them take a look at a watch that belonged to my grandfather. When I took it elsewhere for a battery replacement, they’d found the old battery had leaked some corrosion and they weren’t able to fix it. Within five minutes of opening it up, the gentleman at Lakewood Clock Repair had it ticking again, and didn’t even charge me. He said he just had to clean the battery contacts so there was no charge. Both of the guys working when I went in were very friendly. I definitely recommend this shop if you have a watch or clock in need of repair!

An October Friday afternoon visit for a watch battery replacement found the battery was not the problem. Allen cleaned the battery electrical contacts and stated that possibly is the fix because after cleaning the contacts, the watch works fine. Excellent knowledgeable service from obviously a skilled craftsman. Thank you Allen.

Lakewood Clock Repair recently worked on two Howard Figure 8 clocks for me.The clocks, were between 125 and 150 years old, and had not been run for over 15 years. The clocks were inspected, overhauled and put back in running order and then calibrated to keep perfect time. For an additional fee, Lakewood delivered and hung both clock to assure that they were on beat. The service was timely and efficient. There was good communications throughout the servicing time. Everybody was knowledgeable and friendly. A thoroughly professional experience.
