I had a great experience with Stephens Plumbing and will be a returning customer when I need plumbers again. When my water pressure was high, I reached out and received a response the same day. Two friendly and professional plumbers (Jake and AJ) came the next day. I was expecting to pay a lot more than I did for the service because I thought the pressure reducing valve would need to be replaced, but the plumbers tested it carefully and assured me that it was still working. They carefully explored and tested for the culprit of the high water pressure and eventually discovered pebbles in the check valve next to the PRV! They took their time and were very patient with my questions. While they were there, I offhandedly mentioned that I was anxious that I could not find my in-home water turnoff valves for my hoses, to turn them off for winter (new-to-me house). They located one in a location I never would have checked (a corner of the basement under a ceiling panel) and discovered that the other had been sealed off when an expansion had been added to the house. They installed one for me while they were there! The price of the water pressure fix and the shutoff valve installation together were still less than I had originally expected to pay. These plumbers will not try to sell you on options you don't need and will explore the less expensive possibilities before replacing parts. I highly recommend them.
