My dad was a jeweler, watchmaker and clock repairer; he serviced a number of clocks for embassies in DC. I inherited 6 of his clocks, 2 of which were not running when I brought them up from Florida. I tried several shops with no success until I found Deanna. She has repaired or done maintenance on all of them. Southern Maryland Clock Repair is A-1. She will not disappoint. Thanks, Deanna!
I had a coocoo clock that had been disassembled by a good intentioned neighbor, as it did not work. He could not put it back together. We found this service by referral from another clock repair in Vienna, VA. They said she was the best for coocoos in the area. I contacted her, she was very backlogged, but would give me a call when her workload lessened. I got a call after several months, took the clock there and after several weeks received a call saying it was ready. I went today to pick it up and was told about how to care for it. It is now working in my living room. She is knowledgeable, courteous and a very nice person. I recommend her service to anyone. I would use her service again.
I have a banjo clock that has been in my family for many, many, years. One day it stopped working. I took it to Deanna at Southern Maryland Clock Repair and asked her to take a look and see what she might do. She is a perfectionist and her work IS perfection. Not only did she get it working and keeping perfect time, she cleaned the clock inside and out. And all for a VERY reasonable price. If you need an antique clock repaired, trust it to this business.
