I would like to share my experience with this repair shop. I had a battery that was failing on my iPhone 12 mini, And I brought it to this guy and he spent some time with my phone. We had a good conversation. I thought he was gonna be a good man who was gonna install a verified Apple battery But he installed a cheap Chinese battery that can’t be verified by Apple and my iPhone gets so hot afterwards even though my battery say 100% and it doesn’t charge as fast as it was when it was a Apple battery. I went to the Apple store in Tysons corner mall As I insisted for them to just check on the Battery. So they took my phone in the back they opened it up and they told me the battery that was installed is a cheap Chinese Battery. They went ahead and replaced it with a verified Apple battery from California. I don’t know why this person would install a cheap battery in my phone. When we had a good conversation and on top of that, my speaker and my microphone stopped working and I wanted him to check on the speaker and microphone, and he didn’t have no time to do that. Apple went right ahead and replaced my microphone and replaced My speaker and everything worked fine. It was not software related like he stated. I paid him $55 and I think he took advantage of it. I should’ve been charged like $30 for a cheap Chinese battery that he installed in my phone and my phone gets so hot when charging. I’m not happy. I don’t feel like coming back to this place.
