This is the second time I've visited to have Wayne help me with a repair on my laptop and when I tell you I ALWAYS leave happy and satisfied, I ALWAYS leave happy and satisfied! The first time my laptop was losing battery life every 5 mins without being plugged in and then it started overheating rapidly. Then last week, there was some damage to my laptop at the worst possible place, right under the power key. It would no longer turn on. I thought all hope was lost, but not so. Wayne took care of it and in record time, my laptop was back at home and functioning as normal. Best gadget guys in town. If you have a problem with your devices, you gotta pay them a visit and you will be so happy you did!!
The Gadget Guys succeeded where Geek Squad at Best Buy completely failed. I paid Geek Squad to transfer my data, and after being told it was done, I later discovered that no data had actually been transferred. They also told me my old computer — which wouldn’t turn on — could not be fixed.
The Gadget Guys not only recovered my data properly, but they also repaired the “unfixable” computer and brought it back to life. Their expertise, honesty, and professionalism are on another level.
If you want real results and technicians who actually know what they’re doing, skip the big box store and go straight to The Gadget Guys. Highly recommend!

Edit: I went to the one in Fort Washington, MD. The iPad was purchased in late September 2025. I paid in cash; that was my mistake. I should have pay with credit card and I might dispute the charge by now. Anyway, such a terrible experience.
I got a used iPad pro at this place for my son to use on an international trip. I had to factory reset it during my vacation because he clicked something wrong, then I found out the iPad is locked by an organization. When I came back from the trip, I notified the store right away. They cleared the issue for me temporarily, but they said if there’s equivalent iPad, they would replace it for me. Four months have passed and they’ve never followed up with me. I have to constantly called them to check on it. They said “Don’t factory reset the iPad”. I don’t feel safe to use the iPad ever since they cleared it for me because the organization can monitor my activities and my personal information. I requested my payment back but they said they could only do store credit. To be honest, I don’t think anyone should trust this place. I feel like I got scam from the store. I know there’s risk from buying used products, but a from a store, it’s crazy.
