The small is in fairly good shape and also has stores like target which have their own separate entrances to get in and out. For EV drivers there is a supercharger station and an Electrify America station available to use. Very easy on and off for the freeway access, and there are exits, which are controlled by lights, which makes it easier to get out of the place since it’s by busy streets and said freeways.
They still have some decent retail stores. But don't go hungry, the food court only have 2 good places, Japanese teriyaki and the bubble tea. Every other restaurant looks as if owned by the same person because the food doesn't have any flavor to it, is over cooked or sitting under the heating lamps for well over 2 hours, so it's nice and stale. And the pizza tastes like cardboard and burnt pepperoni
We take our students to the South Hill Mall each year just before Christmas. They have an opportunity to practice buying products, food, and recognize who a trusted adult is. We always have a great experience in Dick's Sporting Goods, Bath and Body Works, Claire's, Target, and all the little shops. Santa is always sweet and allows us to approach and get a couple photos when requested. It's a great environment for families!

Beautiful mall! Especially during the holidays! I love the colorful decorations of the Christmas trees and how they tower to the ceilings. It really puts you in a festive mood. The food court is cozy but spacious to move around without feeling crowded. There are an abundance of stores to explore and shop for hours. Overall, this mall is great for walking around to take in the surrounding sites and enjoying a bite to eat or favorite drink.
