Joe came out and gave me an estimate on the wood floor in a bedroom that needed some of the wood replaced and refinished. Brian came out and explained the process he was going to do to accomplish the finished project. He did a great job at repairing, and refinishing the floor. Brian also did a great at matching the finish to the same finish as the hallway. The thing that I really like is how Joe and his Wife both came to the house to check on the process. This showed me the concern Joe and his team have to make sure each and every floor they do is important to the them and the company. No matter how larger or small the job may be. While preparing the family home of over 50 yrs for sale, we pulled up the carpeting in the living room, dining room, and library and realized there was beautiful unfinished red oak flooring underneath. We also had worn and warped (from previous dishwasher leakage) red oak flooring in the kitchen that needed a lot of attention. We used reviews to decide to use Smith's Hardwood & Construction to repair, sand and refinish all the flooring with amazing and beautiful results. Joe and his expert crew were also able to take care of a complicated sub-floor problem in a transition area between 2 rooms. Joe and his crew are very detail oriented in their work and, as a plus, were very pleasant to work with. Joe responded quickly to every communication and went out of his way to do follow-up on things that looked fine to us but weren't quite up to his standards. When the job was finished, Joe provided us with written instructions for care of our wood floors. We highly recommend this company.
