Skirack

I visited the store for the first time to find a Patagonia cap I saw on the Skirack website. A gentleman greeted me and asked how I could help. I explained that I was looking for a specific Patagonia cap. He mentioned that there was a Patagonia store on the church, which I already knew. He then led me to a rack of Patagonia clothing, including other caps, but he simply walked away towards the checkout counter after that. I thanked him, but I wished he had looked at my phone or checked on the computer to see if the cap was in stock.

Skirack is the BEST place to buy skis or a bike and just all around a great local business. Over the years, we’ve gone there to get bikes, skis, darn tough socks, mittens, running shoes, bike rentals, ski rentals - the full gamut. Every single time we’ve gone there, we have been helped by friendly, knowledgeable staff. Today I was helped by Charlie in the bike services center and he went truly above and beyond. I ordered some studded tires about a week ago so I could ride my bike during the winter. I had planned to bring my bike to the service center to get the tires changed out but the snowy icy conditions made it hard for me to get my bike to the store. I asked Charlie for advice on if I might be able to change the tire myself and he went into the back of the shop, pulled out a bike wheel, and demonstrated for me how to change a tire. He could not have been more encouraging, warm, and friendly. I’m so grateful that we have an amazing local business in our city who truly cares about their customers and takes the time to provide such outstanding customer service.
