I made the costly mistake of bringing my iPhone 15 here for a screen replacement. The service itself was fast—about 30 minutes. I walked in, the man took my phone, said “30 minutes,” I left, came back, and his timing was spot on. He then offered a screen protector for $20. I said yes impulsively—I felt put on the spot. As soon as the phone turned on, I noticed something was off. The brightness was extremely dim, and even at max brightness the screen was still dull. I thought maybe it just needed a moment to “wake up.” Then my iPhone displayed a warning that a third-party screen had been installed or installed incorrectly. I hit OK. Huge mistake. The screen is NOT authentic. The pixelation is obvious, the responsiveness is slow, and the overall quality is terrible. I take responsibility for not asking upfront, but this should have been disclosed. On my train ride home, I noticed bubbles under the screen protector. When I tried to smooth them out with my hand, the protector cracked immediately. Absolute garbage quality. I called the shop minutes after leaving to ask for at least a refund on the screen protector. The man offered me $10 via Cash App for a $20 protector that cracked almost instantly. Two weeks later, the cheap, non-authentic screen has now cracked as well. I’ll be replacing it with an authentic screen elsewhere. This was a complete waste of time and money. If you’re in an emergency and just need something functional, this place might get you by—but you absolutely get what you pay for. Beware of the quality of the technology used here.
