Roto Rooter Sewer Service

During an extremely rainy and snowy time, we had a flood 3 times in a week in the basement and didn't know where the water was coming from. This had never happened in our house before in our 30 years here, but had suddenly started happening repeatedly for at least a couple days. Investigations finally revealed that there were no leaks from pipes above or any appliances, and it wasn't seeping up or in through the foundation. We finally realized it was a clog in the water exit line so instead of heading into the septic tank, water was backing up into the basement anytime the water was run and it was coming up through the basement floor drain. So first, we had an emergency pumping of the septic tank late on Saturday afternoon, but it didn't solve the problem and we realized the line was blocked somewhere. Immediately after the septic pump truck left, we called several different plumbers who advertised emergency services. But no one would agree to come out until at least Monday afternoon , which would have left us without being able to use any water for at least another 2 days. So I kept trying and finally got to Roto Rooter on the call list - help was there at last! They were already headed to work another job an hour south of us (emergencies often happen on holiday weekends😢) but Jason came to our WF home early on Sunday morning. He scoped the line and diagnosed the problem, and then cleared the clog so that everything works now. He not only came to help us on Sunday morning, but during a 5 degrees outside frigid ice/snow storm! He was fast, efficient, and such a nice guy - we cannot thank you enough! Roto Rooter is very responsive in an emergency and I will always call them first now - highly recommend their services!
