Kalispell Alignment & Auto Repair

Kalispell Auto and Alignment deserves 10 stars. They are so knowledgeable, fair, reasonably priced and provide superior customer service. I can always trust that they will stand behind their work. I started going there several years ago on a recommendation from a friend and because of my positive experiences, have referred my Dad and several other people who are as happy with their work as I've been. I don't make recommendations very often but when I feel as impressed with the quality of a service as I do with this business, I can't help but refer people and will continue taking my vehicle there for small and large repairs. Hands down, Kalispell Auto and Alignment is a top notch auto repair business.

For me, this is a good place to take my vehicle. They normally get right on the job when I show up for my appointment. They always let me know beforehand if it's going to be several hours, in case I don't want to wait and scheduled a ride home. The crew is always polite and have a great sense of humor when we joke around. They appear to be skilled and know vehicles from bumper to bumper and are reasonable in price. Give them a try.

$145 for a 45 min pre-purchase inspection. They rushed it and didn’t catch a clear noise that happens when the vehicle turns hard left. I had to ask them to take it back out and drive it again when they didn’t even note the noise that I was concerned about. An alignment check was not included either. But the main issue is that this place overcharged me thinking I wouldn’t know better. I would recommend going somewhere else if you need work done, since they’ll probably do it to you as well. I’d gladly pay $145 for a thorough one hour inspection from a good mechanic. However when I asked how much labor was involved in my $145, 45 min inspection, I was told $145 is the flat price for an inspection. If they charged an hourly rate at that, it would be $181 an hour. This is more expensive than the dealer price per hour, who quoted me $175 for the same inspection and they take 1 hour to do it. And I guarantee they would do a better job inspecting it, not making me have to ask them to go test drive it again. Just a bad experience feeling ripped off, paying $181 an hour for a rushed pre purchase inspection.
