Andy became my plumber about four years ago when my former plumber of many years retired. I was so pleased to find a plumber who worked for himself, not a large company, and who, to my amazement did not charge me a preliminary fee just to come to the house for the first time to look at the problem. But more than that, he‘s been a great plumber. He appears to relish figuring out complicated issues that are usually related to my steam heat, and has suggested products, like my fixtures, that are far less expensive than leading brands, but just as, or maybe even more reliable and long-lasting. He has also informed me about things like heat pumps, whether they are good or not for my home, for instance. So he clearly keeps up-to-date on new products and trends. He has replaced heating pipes that were corroded and has installed a whole house filtering system that I definitely needed. He is thorough and meticulous. He waits, after he’s completed the work, to be sure that what he has done is working properly. He is highly personable, too. Always friendly. And most important to me, a woman and sole homeowner, he has always respected the knowledge I have about my house, a house built in 1920, that I‘ve owned for over 30 years, and he has always shown me personal respect. I can‘t say enough good about him.
