OTM Appliance Repair

I called OTM after reading several good Nextdoor reviews. I got a very quick response-phone answered promptly and they were able to get a tech at the house the same day. Person to whom I spoke was very professional. My husband said the tech who actually came to the house was not very nice. We were told the part we need is no longer available even though the range is not that old. I checked with LG and they sent me the pricing info and the link where I could order the part the tech said we need. Edit: the owner called me and was concerned about our interaction. He apologized for the employee's response and stated that a replacement part can be obtained even though it might have a different part number. I appreciate his quick response and offer!

Update – and this matters: I’m updating my original review because what happened after I posted it says far more about this company than the initial problem ever could. Not only did the original technician return, but the owner of the business personally came out to address the issue. They were immediately responsive, genuinely apologetic, and completely focused on making things right. This follow-up visit was well beyond the original warranty, and they did not charge a dime. Their priority was not defending the original work — it was my satisfaction and the quality of their service. They took the time to fully diagnose, correct the problem, stabilize the dryer, and ensure everything was functioning properly before leaving. Anyone can make a mistake. Very few companies respond with this level of ownership, professionalism, and integrity. This experience restored my confidence completely and reinforced why we had positive experiences with them in the past. This is what standing behind your work actually looks like. —————————————— Ironically, this review request came on the same day I was planning to call them back to correct issues from the repair. While the heating element was replaced, the dryer was reassembled poorly. It now shakes violently, to the point that it shakes the house, and appears to be putting the machine at risk of damage. It is also not drying clothes thoroughly and requires multiple cycles to function. This is especially disappointing because our past experiences with this company have been positive. Unfortunately, this visit fell well below that standard and may result in us having to replace the dryer due to improper reassembly.
